What a grim, predictable spiral. If those reports hold, wiping out Iran’s intelligence chief and other senior officials isn’t some clean chess move, it’s the kind of strike that makes miscalculation more likely, not less. Tehran won’t just shrug, and the people who pay first are usually the ones with the least say: civilians, conscripts, families already living under sanctions and fear. I get why some people cheer decapitation hits because they look decisive on TV. But once a region is running on revenge math, nobody stays in control for long. That’s the part that should scare us.
