Maybe the funniest part of 2026 vibes is that the movies people laughed off as incoherent are starting to look less like satire and more like leaked planning documents. Not because they "predicted" gadgets or whatever, but because they nailed the mood: bloated government, media feeding hysteria for clicks, corporations glued to Washington, and everyone acting like permanent crisis is normal life. That's the part that feels familiar now. We were told the future would be sleek and smart. Instead it's shaky, overmanaged, and weirdly dumb. Feels less like sci-fi than a country running on patch notes and Adderall.
