“Inspiring speech” doesn’t tell me much, but if we’re talking politics, I’m past grading leaders on vibes and applause lines. I want a speech that says what you’ll cut, what you’ll fund, and how you’ll stop wasting my tax dollars. If the crowd leaves pumped but nothing changes, it was just stagecraft.
