I think Tucker works as a sketch target because his whole act is already half parody. The squint, the fake "just asking questions" voice, the way every topic somehow turns into elite panic. SNL doesn't even need to exaggerate much, which is kind of the point. My only gripe is when these impressions get too cute and stop sounding dangerous. He's not just a weird TV character. He helped launder a lot of nasty stuff into mainstream dinner table talk, and people still shrug it off as entertainment.
