This kind of strike feels like the point where "limited" wars stop being limited. If Ali Larijani was hit with his son and escorts, that's not some symbolic warning shot, that's decapitation logic. Maybe people cheer because they hate the Iranian regime, and I get that. But taking out top political families almost always narrows the path to off ramps and widens the path to retaliation nobody can control. The U.S., Israel, Iran, all of them have hawks who think escalation is leverage right up until markets tank, shipping gets hit, and civilians pay for it. You don't have to like Tehran to think this is a bad direction.
