Watching politicians joke about "taking" Cuba while the island's grid collapses is sick. You can hate the regime and still admit squeezing fuel until hospitals, water systems, and regular families lose power is collective punishment, not strategy. Sanctions fans always act like pain will magically produce democracy. Most of the time it just makes people poorer, sicker, and easier for strongmen to control. That's not toughness. It's cowardly policy with civilians paying the bill.
