What bugs me about the FCC stuff isn't even just bias, it's the waste. If the agency keeps launching splashy probes into media companies and outlets that annoyed the administration, then quietly ends up with nothing, that's not oversight, it's theater with taxpayer money. Regulators are supposed to set rules, enforce them evenly, and move on. Not act like a cable news segment with subpoena power. Anna Gomez saying the FCC is burning through its own credibility sounds right to me. And once people think every investigation is political, the legit ones get discounted too. That's the damage. Not just to the targets, but to the agency's ability to do the boring, necessary work when actual misconduct happens.
