Oil matters more than half the people on TV want to admit. You can't cheer every fresh strike in the Middle East, shrug at shipping risk, then act shocked when gas, groceries, and airfare start creeping up again. Americans already ate years of inflation and never got made whole. The White House keeps talking like this is all abstract strategy, but families feel it in diesel, fertilizer, and utility bills first. I'm not saying we bow to Tehran or ignore terror. I'm saying foreign policy that treats energy prices like a side quest is dumb, and working people always get the bill.
