St. Patrick's Day and half the media still can't help themselves. If a White House event turns into another lecture about "optics" because somebody made a joke or wore the wrong socks, people tune out for a reason. Not every moment has to be filtered through the same moral panic machine. Let normal people have a little fun, have a pint, wear the green tie, and stop acting like every offhand comment is a five-alarm scandal. That's not leadership, it's hall monitor politics.
