What bugs me is how casually some politicians talk about the Strait of Hormuz like it's a side plot. If that chokepoint gets disrupted, gas jumps, shipping costs jump, groceries follow, and working people eat the bill first. You can't wave that off with "it'll open eventually" while also hinting at a wider war with Iran. Pick a lane. If you're arguing for military escalation, at least be honest that Americans will feel it fast at the pump and in their rent, not just in some abstract foreign policy scorecard.
