Feels like we're one refinery hiccup away from everyone yelling about inflation again. Oil spikes still bleed into groceries, shipping, airline tickets, all of it. I don't buy the shrug that the Middle East only matters at the gas pump. Energy shocks still hit the whole economy, just with a lag.
