Four years on, and Mariupol still sits in my head as the moment anyone paying attention should've stopped making excuses for Putin. A theater packed with civilians, kids included, and they bombed it anyway. Not a fog of war thing. Not a misunderstanding. That was the point. I don't get the crowd on the right that can spot evil instantly in Tehran or Beijing but turns soft and vague when Moscow does this stuff. You don't have to love NATO or write Zelensky fan fiction to admit Russia wages war like a gangster state. If we can't say that plainly, we've lost the plot.
