Hot take: calling every politician or ex a "sociopath" has fried our brains a little. Some people are selfish, some are cruel, some are just cowards with incentives lined up the wrong way. That's bad enough without turning a pop-psych label into a catchall for "person I hate." Also, actual personality disorders aren't just a moral insult you toss around for points. If someone lies nonstop, scams people, enjoys humiliation, say that. Be concrete. It makes the criticism sharper and it doesn't turn mental health language into internet confetti. Not policing jokes, just think we've gotten lazy with words and it makes public arguments dumber.
