Maybe the box office record thing says less about movies and more about how scattered we all are now. A giant hit can pull in cash from premium tickets, global rollouts, and endless marketing, then vanish from actual conversation in two weeks because everyone's back in their own feed. Not saying movies are dead. Just that money and cultural footprint have split, and Hollywood still acts like they're the same metric.
