What gets me is how much GOP politics now seems built around breaking things just to prove government can't work. Tank a bipartisan border deal, threaten shutdowns, slash agencies, then point at the mess and call it freedom. I'm not even against cuts on principle, but sabotage isn't governing. If you want smaller government, make the case and own the tradeoffs.
