Wild that every time oil companies or Trump talk about "energy security" it somehow means Californians eat the risk and they pocket the upside. Reopening that busted pipeline off our coast after spills, court orders, and criminal cases isn't some emergency plan, it's the same scam with a flag on it. Gas prices go up because of war and market games, then they use the panic to push projects locals already rejected. If they cared about costs, they'd go after price gouging and build transit, not gamble with beaches and fishing jobs.
