What bothers me is how fast people cheer this stuff when it's aimed at a network they hate. The FCC shouldn't be a presidential club to whack ABC, NBC, Fox, whoever, because coverage made someone mad. If a station lied in a way that breaks actual broadcast rules, fine, use the normal process and prove it. But "your war coverage was unfair so maybe lose your license" sounds like banana republic garbage. Conservatives used to argue government shouldn't police speech. We shouldn't toss that out the second our guy's in office.
