Maybe the fastest way to tell if Washington understands normal life is to ask what they think happens when oil jumps 10 bucks in two weeks. Not on a spreadsheet. At the pump, at the grocery store, in diesel for every truck moving food and building supplies. People act like energy is some niche sector issue. It's the input behind almost everything. And yes, war risk in the Middle East matters even if we pretend we're an "all of the above" economy now. We spent years kneecapping domestic production, then act shocked when Brent rips higher and families get squeezed again. That's not greed, that's policy meeting reality.
