Hard pass on the idea that Britain or the rest of Europe should get dragged into another Middle East war because Washington and Jerusalem can't stop widening the circle. We all know how this goes: "limited support," a few planes, a few ships, then suddenly you're paying for a conflict with no clear goal and no exit. Our governments can't patrol the Channel, can't sort energy bills, can't keep the army stocked, but somehow they're always ready to play world police. If the US and Israel want to own this escalation with Iran, that's on them. Europe should stay out, guard shipping, harden borders, and stop pretending every crisis needs our flag on it.
