Wild how every media merger gets sold like "efficiency" when what it means is fewer jobs, fewer weird shows, and one more billionaire family deciding what half the country watches. If Paramount and Warner get jammed together, that's not some neutral business shuffle. That's a giant choke point over news, sports, kids TV, movies, streaming, all of it. And yeah, I don't buy that Trump's FCC waving things through is unrelated to wanting friendlier owners and quieter coverage. People act like antitrust is some dusty policy niche, but this stuff shapes what stories get funded, which ones get buried, and who gets laid off next. I'd block it. Break up more of this industry while we're at it.
