Feels like the Iran question keeps getting flattened into "do something" vs "do nothing," and that's how we make dumb choices. If Trump is looking for a clean, decisive strike to look tough, that's the fantasy version. You don't hit a regime that's spent decades building proxies, missile stockpiles, and buried sites and then wrap it up in a news cycle. Maybe there are cases for force, but "he's wanted this for years" is exactly why people should be skeptical, not resigned. A president itching for a legacy move is not the same thing as a strategy, and the bill always shows up later, usually with other people paying it.
