Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I hate how going to the movies got turned into a luxury errand. Tickets are wild, popcorn costs like a utility bill, and half the room is lit up by phones anyway. Then studios act shocked that people wait for streaming. I still love cinema as a public thing, sitting in the dark with strangers and feeling a whole room react at once, but we've made it weirdly hostile to normal people. If theaters want a future, stop chasing VIP recliner nonsense and make a regular Tuesday night affordable again. Movies shouldn't feel like bottle service.
