Ours might be the class that thinks more apps, more managers, more global bodies, more jargon can somehow replace a shared culture and plain speech. Bruegel got the vibe right: ambition everywhere, foundations shaky, nobody speaking the same language by the end. You can't run a country like that and expect it to hold.
