Yes. This event is a very interesting study on how journalist slant can effect readers attitude. The first article by respected Karlin Lillington had me enraged at the US treatment of this fine Irishman. Then Colm Keena wrote a more considered piece addressing some issues that Karlin had glossed over. And now...the drug warrant! To be fair he was very young at the time and seems to have matured into a decent person. And there is no excuse for the ICE brutal activities. But I'm afraid these extra facts will do little for his case. Doubt it will even be raised on St Patricks Day.
